Thanks to Ally for tagging me in this one! Don’t get me wrong, I can talk books all day long, but it is a nice little change of pace to talk music for a minute or two. This tag was created by Sumedha of The Wordy Habitat, so thank you for the wonderful tag!

DO YOU DOWNLOAD SONGS OR STREAM ON APPS LIKE SPOTIFY, WINK?

I’m an Apple sheep, so I use Apple Music.

WHAT’S YOUR CURRENT FAVOURITE SONG?

I’ve really been liking Waking Lions by Pop Evil. It starts out sound like a really hard song, but it’s very inspirational by the time you hit the chorus.

WHO ARE YOUR ALL-TIME FAVOURITE ARTISTS?

HAVE YOU BEEN TO ANY CONCERTS?

Sure. I’ve seen Mariana’s Trench a few times. I’ve also seen Third Eye Blind, Ben Folds Five,  Down With Webster, and Weezer.

DO YOU PLAY ANY INSTRUMENTS?

Not really. I play a little guitar, but by “a little” I mean I can’t play an entire song, unless you count Jingle Bells.

DO YOU PLAY YOUR SONGS ON SHUFFLE OR CHOOSE A PLAYLIST?

Both! I use playlists, but always on shuffle.

NAME ONE SONG THAT YOU ALWAYS SKIP WHEN IT COMES UP ON SHUFFLE.

DO YOU PREFER PLAYING SONGS ON SPEAKER OR LISTENING IN EAR/HEADPHONES?

Headphones. I’m not against speakers, but rocking out on your own is something else.

IS THERE ANY POPULARLY LIKED SONG THAT YOU DON’T LIKE?

Most Lady Gaga. None of it is terrible, but it’s not for me.

WHERE DO YOU USUALLY FIND NEW MUSIC? EXAMPLE THROUGH SHUFFLE ONLINE, RECOMMENDATIONS.

Honestly, I still hear most new music on the radio to/from work. Old school.

DO YOU LIKE SONGS BASED ON TUNES/BEATS OR LYRICS?

Most of the time, I need it all. A good tune/beat will have me listen to the song a few times, but if I don’t like the lyrics, it won’t last.

NAME ONE SONG THAT YOU THINK EVERYONE SHOULD LISTEN TO.

Make the Money by Macklemore. Probably seems like an odd choice, but the message is really great. (LANGUAGE WARNING: He’s quite liberal with curse words, so if you’re not a fan of that, you may want to skip this one.)
