This one’s actually possible one day. In my lifetime? I sure hope so. And at the rate technology is moving forward, it’ll be before I’ve even hit middle age!

This one comes with a stipulation that I get the same abilities/permissions that Bod had. I don’t wear all black. I don’t listen to emo. I don’t want to just hang out in a cemetery unless I can talk to all the dead people in it.
Living in a cemetery and talking to dead people all day would be amazing. (I visit the cemetery near my house frequently and just take walks and hang out there/. It’s such a peaceful place.) Good picks!

holy hell…… how did I forget about the Oasis!?!?!? I feel like a total idiot! That would be amazing! The actual world is a little scary. I wouldn’t want to live in the stacks….. but the Oasis?! YES PLEASE!

I feel like the technology for the Oasis already exists, its just a matter of making it cheap enough for public consumption! There are tons of worlds where it would be super cool to be in, but like you, I would probably end up dead, or worse…expelled 😀
I think you’re right. VR is getting more accessible all the time. Though until they have full haptic suits and omni-directional treadmills, it’s not the Oasis…

Yes!!! I totally only want to hang out at the cemetery if I can talk to dead people. But I would totally do that in Henrietta as well. With Gansey’s weird talking device, or hanging out at the cemetery with Blue and her mom.

It didn’t make the list because I’ve never read it. If only I had a wizened, well-read relative to make sure I was reading the best that literature has to offer.
Totally agree with hogwarts and cabeswater! Especially if you can get the dreaming abilities, would make life easier ahha!
