Who Am I? Tag – Storeys of Stories

WHAT DOES MY NAME MEAN?

JOSEPH rates as a top 20 name in the United States and has traces all the way back through Hebrew and Greek. Apparently it means, “he will add.” That’s pretty open to interpretation. I guess I’m supposed to always add something wherever I go? That could get expensive…

WHAT IS MY MYERS-BRIGGS PERSONALITY TYPE (LINK)

I’m a Mediator (INFP-A). Eh… some of it sounds like me, I guess.

Mediator personalities are true idealists, always looking for the hint of good in even the worst of people and events, searching for ways to make things better. While they may be perceived as calm, reserved, or even shy, Mediators have an inner flame and passion that can truly shine. Comprising just 4% of the population, the risk of feeling misunderstood is unfortunately high for the Mediator personality type – but when they find like-minded people to spend their time with, the harmony they feel will be a fountain of joy and inspiration.

WHAT IS MY ZODIAC SIGN? (LINK)

I’m Sagittarius, and I can’t say that the description fits me at all. I have a little extrovert in me, but the introvert side is dominant. And while there are a few places I’d like to travel to, staycations always sound amazing.

Sagittarius is extrovert, optimistic and enthusiastic, and likes changes. Sagittarius-born are able to transform their thoughts into concrete actions and they will do anything to achieve their goals.

Like the other fire signs, Sagittarius needs to be constantly in touch with the world to experience as much as possible. The ruling planet of Sagittarius is Jupiter, the largest planet of the zodiac. Their enthusiasm has no bounds, and therefore people born under the Sagittarius sign possess a great sense of humor and an intense curiosity.

Freedom is their greatest treasure, because only then they can freely travel and explore different cultures and philosophies. Because of their honesty, Sagittarius-born are often impatient and tactless when they need to say or do something, so it’s important to learn to express themselves in a tolerant and socially acceptable way.

WHAT IS MY HOGWARTS HOUSE? (LINK)

HP-Hufflepuff.jpg

Hufflepuff – 15
Ravenclaw – 12
Gryffindor – 8
Slytherin – 7

Pottermore sorted me as a Ravenclaw. So I guess that makes me a Ravenpuff? Or a Huffleclaw?

WHAT ARE MY LEARNING STYLES? (LINK)

You have a strong kinesthetic learning preference.

  • Visual 5
  • Aural 2
  • Read/Write 2
  • Kinesthetic 10

I’ve always been a very hands-on person when it comes to learning. Reading a description of how to do something usually leaves me with too many questions.

AM I LEFT OR RIGHT BRAIN DOMINANT? (LINK)

I am right-Brained. 78% right and 22% left.

So, creative? Does this give me an excuse for how messy I am usually am?

WHAT IS MY BLOOD TYPE?

O-negative. The universal donor.

WHAT CAREER AM I MEANT TO HAVE? (LINK)

You have a skill for language, your imagination is vast and you are artistic and creative. Your brain is just overflowing with ideas, and all you have to do is get a piece of paper and share it with the world. You were born to turn words into magical stories.

Perfect! Now I just need to make this a reality.

WHAT DIVERGENT FACTION DO I BELONG IN? (LINK)

Abnegation. You belong with the selfless. You always find yourself lending a hand to others, and you seldom realize it. You truly care about the people around you, and you’re the first to notice when someone is under the weather. Just when you think you have a day to spend for yourself, you probably catch yourself listening to a friend dish about her problems instead. Some people might tag you as “boring”, but those closest to you know that you’re a simple gal (I’m a gal?) with the purest of hearts.

WHAT DOES MY BIRTH ORDER SAY ABOUT ME? (LINK)

The Baby
Stereotype: Free spirit, risk taker, charming.
Why it’s true: Parents are less cautious. (Hey, the older ones ate the dog’s food and lived!) And they also probably have more resources than they did when starting out. “Parents are more lenient, so youngest kids tend to be less rules-oriented, and yet they still get lots of attention,” says Salmon.
When it’s not: “Some babies resent not being taken seriously,” says Linda Campbell, a professor of counseling and human development at the University of Georgia, in Athens. “They might become very responsible, like the oldest, or social, like the middle.”
