Top 5 Book Covers using Red, Orange, and/or Yellow

A week for the artsy-fartsies inside of each one of us. This week, The Bionic Bookworm’s Top 5 Tuesday is about covers with red, orange, and/or yellow. I hope there’s a future post that covers some other colours (wink, wink.)

Illuminae

Illuminae

This is the very first cover that shot to mind. It’s going in.

Ready Player One

I’m cheating a little bit on this one. This is hardcover version, which I never read, but… it’s going in.

The Daylight War

Book 3 of the Demon Cycle. Look at all that swirling red material! It’s going in.

Golden Son

Originally I had Red Rising AND Golden Son on my list, but it seemed wrong to have two books from the same series, so… it’s going on.

Fight Club

Is that red, or is it closer to pink? Doesn’t matter. It’s going in.

Fun fact about this post: …it’s going in.

  1. I’ve never seen that cover of Fight Club before, I like it. Hey, I say if you’ve read the book, you’ve read the book. It doesn’t matter which cover you show😊

    1. It’s part of the Demon Cycle. The world is plagued by nocturnal demons. They only safety is hiding behind magical defence wards passed down by generations. Until one man seeks out the lost ‘fighting’ wards, and goes as far as tattooing them on his skin. The first book is called The Warded Man (sometimes called the Painted Man)

        1. The first three are great reads. The last book (the 4th) felt like it was getting to be too long. I THINK that the 5th book (which is out, I just haven’t read it) is the final one. But I won’t know for sure until I read it.

  2. Why am I not surprised to see The Illuminae, The Gorlden Son and Ready Player One on your list Joe? 😉
