Waking the Lions by Pop Evil

Waking the Lions is a bit of a deceptive song. It begins quite heavy, and sounds like something suitable for fighting, death, and destruction. But hiding a little further into the song, right around the chorus, is a calmer sound and an incredibly inspirational message. Check these lyrics:

I want to stand up,

100 feet tall,

cause fear will never lead my way.

I’m ready to run,

100 miles strong,

I will never be the same. 

I’m waking the lions in me.

It’s a great song and makes me feel like I can do anything.
